It’s FINALLY here!!! I posted a video of Bruno Mars performing his new song Grenade in NY a while ago and I’ve been waiting for the studio version ever since! I already knew all of the words, because I listened to the live version a gazillion times. HAHA I love, love, love this song!!

Bruno Mars has been grabbing headlines recently for his acclaimed work writing hits for B.o.B, Cee-Lo Green and Travie McCoy, as well as for scoring his own chart smash with “Just the Way You Are.” But the singer/songwriter wound up with the wrong kind of attention early Sunday morning in Las Vegas when he was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession.

Bruno Mars will be pleading guilty to felony cocaine possession, which stems from his arrest at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel in September. The Grammy-nominated singer has cut a deal with the prosecutors that will see commit to 200 hours of community service. The 25-year-old “Just the Way You Are” hitmaker was arrested September 19 after he was spotted with a bag of cocaine by a bathroom attendant at the hotel. He was taken into custody, where he told a police officer that he has never used drugs before. According to Las Vegas Review-Journal, Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, has made a deal with the prosecutors. He will be placed on a year of informal probation and attend 200 hours of community service, as well as attend drug counseling. He is also expected to pay $2,000 fine. If he has successfully completed the terms and if he has stayed out of trouble during the term, the case will be dismissed. However, if not, he will be adjudicated guilty and could face a jail sentence. Also, as part of the negotiated deal, he will have to waive a preliminary hearing that was scheduled on February 4th.
